SASMIRA’s Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) is striving to develop value-centric leadership for contemporary business practices through education that is entrepreneurial in spirit, ethical in focus and global in orientation.
The School’s Entrepreneurship Cell aims to help in the development of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by enabling easy and efficient interaction among its major components spanning students, working professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms and corporates through initiatives such as interactive sessions, conferences etc. SIMSR’s Entrepreneurship Cell is being used as a medium to encourage the spirit of business and entrepreneurship among the student fraternity. Not only do we show the doors of opportunity but we also equip them to walk through it. We have an eclectic knowledge of various factors involved in developing a great business professional. It inculcates diverse training programs like Business Case Studies, Business News analysis, Business Simulation, International Research Center, Live Projects, Concept review, Tie-Koon, etc. which help aspiring entrepreneurs of the institution to emerge as business emperors in the global market. The cell nurtures and nourishes entrepreneurship ideas among students. The faculty members help the students in identifying market opportunities, screening ideas and developing viable business models. They also bring the students in contact with venture capitalists and help the students in seeking venture capital funding.
The entrepreneurship development of SIMSR is run completely by students under the strict vigilance of a team of faculties that has been exclusively trained for the purpose by National
Entrepreneurship network. With perspiration, devotion and dedication towards excellence, Entrepreneurship Cell aims to emerge as one of the best entrepreneurship cells, which is dynamically oriented towards shaping tomorrow’s business leaders.
